FEES MATTER

Did you know that even a 0.5% difference in annual fees can significantly impact your nest egg? Here's an example from a Government Accountability Office paper: for a 45 year-old worker with a $20,000 balance in fund that earns 7% a year and charges 0.5% annually in fees, the balance would be about $70,500 by age 65. A 1.5% fee would mean a balance of just $58,400.
